MISSION STATEMENT

The Portage Park Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer, independent, non-profit corporation representing business and community-minded individuals, dedicated to build a vibrant community and serving the needs of its members and community as a whole.

PURPOSE

The Portage Park Chamber of Commerce leadership strives to exceed the expectations of its membership and community by developing and maintaining business opportunities. The Chamber is a strong proactive voice for business, working with local government officials to provide a vital and prosperous business community, acting as a business advocate, welcoming new businesses to Portage Park and promoting healthy business growth.
The Portage Park Chamber of Commerce provides an invaluable networking resource, offering profitable marketing opportunities to its membership. In addition, the Board of Directors makes membership retention and growth a priority. Working together, the Chamber Board seeks to thoughtfully provide lidership in economic, civic, government, education, commercial, industrial and special projects that directly enhance the value of membership.
