OUR PURPOSE

What does the Portage Park Chamber of Commerce do?

The purpose of the PPCC is to drive more customers to local businesses by creating active, vibrant shopping areas that attract a diverse mix of consumers, offer a wide range of cultural and recreational activities, and provide safe neighborhoods to live, work and visit.

Although the PPCC welcomes businesses from throughout the Chicagoland area to become members, it is a geographically-based organization the covers approximately three square miles on the northwest side of Chicago. The PPCC boundaries are Montrose Avenue (4400N) on the north, Belmont Avenue (3200N) on the south, Pulaski Road (4000W) on the east, and Harlem Avenue (7200W) on the west.

Our mission is to create an environment for the success of local businesses through technical assistance, promotional opportunities, and business-to-business networking events.
